I'm still playing around with colours, so who knows! By the end of the summer I could be using a completely different set of pigments! Thanks for commenting.shevaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08210683459670654254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7603463878349085244.post-70059322530907052832014-07-13T19:42:08.833+01:002014-07-13T19:42:08.833+01:00I tried Oxide of Chromium once - and never touched...I tried Oxide of Chromium once - and never touched it again .. :-)
But good the hear that there really are objects that could be painted with it.
/Karin FeltzingTipulidahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11266225408112216508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7603463878349085244.post-64847771158668381042014-07-12T23:02:01.541+01:002014-07-12T23:02:01.541+01:00Thanks Claire. Thanks again for giving me the Cobalt teal paint... it's wonderful! xxshevaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08210683459670654254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7603463878349085244.post-61657790054938598092014-07-12T21:12:23.567+01:002014-07-12T21:12:23.567+01:00I'm with you on the Saunders Waterford paper. ...I'm with you on the Saunders Waterford paper. It's the paper I first painted on before finding Fabriano. Saunders Waterford is my least favourite with Arches coming in second place! I like Fabriano 5 and artistico almost the same, they're both brilliant! xx great post Shevaun xxClairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04662262765034384467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7603463878349085244.post-43567096212574476722014-07-12T21:03:00.621+01:002014-07-12T21:03:00.621+01:00That is a strange coincidence! I think the paper also varies a bit with the weight and am wondering if you have been using the heavier weight. Anyway, the roll of Fabriano Artistico wasn't cheap so it;s just as well that I like it!! A dried date is definitely on my list... that will be a challenge.
